How It Started
SEPTEMBER 2024
Visited a kindergarten at a temple in Bangkok
Three siblings visited a kindergarten in a temple in Bangkok to serve lunch to children with limited opportunities. What began as a simple act of service became an early lesson in how access to opportunity can shape a child's experiences and development.
MARCH 2026
Returned to serve & reconnect with the children
Returning to organise games and activities alongside lunch, they realised that meaningful impact required consistency, structure and long-term commitment.
MAY 2026
Founded Stride•Serve•Lead
Inspired by their earlier community service experiences and by efforts within their sporting community to give pre-loved running shoes a second life, Stride Serve Lead was founded as a youth-led initiative bringing together sport, service and leadership.
SEPTEMBER 2026
Launched Pass the Pair Forward
Launched Pass The Pair Forward, with Team Cicada as the campaign’s main beneficiary partner for 2026, giving pre-loved sports shoes a second life with young athletes and communities in the Philippines.

Our 2026 Beneficiary Partner
Team Cicada is a youth athletics club in Singapore founded by Coach Ben, who has roots in the Philippines. Team Cicada is our main beneficiary partner for the 2026 Pass The Pair Forward campaign.
Through its community connections in the Philippines, Team Cicada has been redistributing pre-loved shoes and other useful items to communities where they can be given a second life. Pass The Pair Forward builds on this existing effort by bringing together a wider network of donors and supporters.
Through this partnership, donated sports shoes can continue their journey with young athletes and communities in the Philippines.
